Challenge 28 - Polkadoodles

It's raining its pouring and I have been stuck in all week aghhhhhhh!!!
This week over at Polkadoodles we were asked to use at least 3 papers and stamps.
As you can tell I am going a bit mad. Decided a wee challenge was in order - new fold thought I - lets try one of those easel folds I've been seeing about and great fun was had! I love this fold!!
Josh is a teenage drummer!
I have used papers, images - music, tickets and bottle tops from NFG CD.
Stamps - two circles and a squiggle with dots at the end - coloured some with Sakura
Basic Grey Alphas and screw brads.

Pssssst - there will be a new CD on Ideal World Thursday 3rd Dec 2p.m. and its well worth the watching - some truly fab work by Nikki and hopefully some samples from the DT......

The DT call closes at 12.00a.m. today and there have been some truly great applications - thanks one and all.I am enjoying looking at all your blogs and wish you all the best of luck.

C.R.A.F.T. Challenge - Christmas gifts

I have had my oldest at home this week with what turns out to be a perforated ear drum - poor soul has been miserable. On the bright side in his wisdom he decided for C.R.A.F.T. Challenge this week we should make a gift for Santa. Ah! bless at 7 he still believes. Anyway we cut this gift bag on my Pazzles and made it up with some 'bugs in a rug' card die cuts and also I decoupaged pieces of paper - some doodling - great bow made with thin tinsel from IKEA and eyelets to set snowflakes at ends.

The contents - some dried cherries, cranberries, strwberries and raisins for the Reindeer and some Magic straws for Santa (turn your milk strawberry flavour)
Pop by Eilieen's blog to find out about extra candy on offer. Eileen is also kindly offering a choice of sentiment stamps as the prize this week at C.R.A.F.T. so what are you waiting for, I am sure there are lots of Christmas gifts in the making......

Crafty Creations

This week over at Crafty Creations we have a Christmas project with an optional cracked glass effect.
For those of you that haven't done it before - me included - it is done by putting several layers of clear embossing powder on top of your image- heating in between layers - leaving to cool and then bending image to crack the embossing - very effective!

My gatefold card uses DCWV papers to back - the lovely Sugar Nellie - Leanne Ellis image coloured with copics,Cutting Cafe string of baubles and sentiment printed on DCWV paper and coloured with Sakura.
I finnished it off with a doodled outline to match bauble string and two tiny pegs to hold on the string of baubles.

We have Regina Easter from the Cutting Cafe as the sponsor this week and the lucky winner can choose any 3 printable stamps - fabby!
Always worth a visit to see what the DT have been upto - we love to visit you and your Crafty Creations.
