Crafty Creations 100th Challenge Blog Hop..........

It's a Crafty Creations Challenges 100th challenge BLOG HOP and CHALLENGE celebration!! We've been planning this celebration for a while; we wanted a special way to say THANK YOU to our weekly players!

Polkadoodles Sketch challenge!

Ruth has kindly given us this sketch to
work with this week at Polka Doodles
...and its for a two week challenge
as we all like a wee break over the holidays.
 The challenge this week is combine the sketch with
some colouring of a stamped image.

I have used the fabby reindeer from
Polka Doodles Creative Christmas cd
coloured with a combination of
Aquamarkers and Sakura
with added stickles.


All other elements are from the Sundae of Seasons Cd.


This card is for my middle son Caleb - he loved it!

Polka Doodles - Age related card/project

Lou Challenged us to create an age related card Project
at Polka Doodles this week.
I had great fun playing with the new imagery
on Sugar Birdies last week...hoping to get samples to Nikki for
Create and Craft yesterday morning.
Unfortunately the post wasn't playing this time I think!

So here is a 40th Birthday card.
Ilove the owls peeking out of their parcels!

Crafty Creations....Beary project!

At last I have started making the family Christmas cards!

Just a little note....Polka Doodles stamps

I feel like I have been MIA with posts this week.
This is mostly due to the fact that I forgot
to photograph my cards this week for orders,
before sending them out....doh!.

So I'll share with you one of the samples
I made using the Polka Doodles new stamps
for the last Create and Craft show.
They are lovely stamps and you can find them at Polka Doodles.

Nikki also sells Promarkers in the shop which
are ideal for colouring in stamped images.
Papers are from the All around and everywhere cd.

I have made an altered box using all elements
Box is from Ikea and added stickles.

Fancy some Footie? 50th Rangers card....

I am not a footie fan - so this was a challenge.
But it worked out okay.
Mostly Coredinations card with a football stamp
and Sakura to doodle.

Polkadoodles - The night before Christmas.....

The Polkadoodles challenge this week was set by Brenda
A project based on the Clement Moore poem
"A Night Before Christmas"

I have base mine around....

When, what to my wondering eyes should appear,
But a minature sleigh, and eight tiny reindeer,

I have used a vast array of Polka Doodles goodies including....

just added Sakura, ink pad and Stickles
There is so much to the poem!

Sneeky preview...Polkadoodles new rubber stamps

This is one of my sample cards for
Nikki at Polkadoodles using the lovely new
rubber stamps Nikki has designed  that will be shown
on Create and Craft
8a.m. Friday 26th November (tomorrow)
I adore this little windmill stamp and have combined
it with the seadhead flowers grouping stamp
they are fabulous!

Papers and large flowers/butterflies are also Polka Doodles
but from the cd's.
Hope you get a chance to see the new products

Crafty Creations - Christmas

Amy has challenged us at Crafty Creations this week
to create a Christmas project,
and I had a card to make for a couple
getting married on Christmas eve - so perfect!

Golfing.....Happy Birthday's

We have alot of Golfers in Largs
and recently I have had 2 golfing cards to make.
Both are very similar.

Using Polkadoodles Golf paper from the NFG CD
Basil dotty paper to make golf balls
peel offs(something I rarely use)
Alpha chip stickers - Basic grey
The 1st one(80th) uses a complementary
Doodlebug patterned green paper

The 2nd one ( Dad) uses a complementary
Coredinations Vintage cardstock.
I'd like to share these with

OSAAT - Rudolph....season or event! And a Dt Call...

I am helping out at
OSAAT Challenge this week
and my easel card uses the fab image by Lil Diva stamps

The challenge is to choose a season or event
I have combined the two for a friend that has a
Christmas birthday!

I have used Basic Grey dp's and Alphas
Lovely spotty ribbon from stash
Ribbon Buckle from Button-it
Hand cut holly leaves with punched berries
and added large gems by Martha Stewart
Copics and Sakura to colour....

Give Thanks and a blog hop......Polkadoodles fun!

We are giving thanks this week at Polka doodles
What have we/you to be thankful for?

This card was made for the specialist in charge
of my Dad during his recent unexpected stay in hospital.
(My Dad asked me to make it)
I am indeed very thankful for the care and attention
shown him by the staff at Ayr hospital.

I have used Sundae of Seasons CD for my card

Now how about a bit of hopping....
