Spring has sprung at Polkadoodles

I'm the hostess at Polka Doodles this week.
My challenge
The Spring has sprung
seemed appropriate to me especially
with this fab new hare that Nikky has created
as part of the Alice stamp set/cd paper set.

Polkadoodles.....Alice stamps being released at Harrogate!


Nikki at Polka Doodles
is releasing her new

They really are lovely images and I had a great time
making a few samples for the show.

Polka Doodles...Books!

I honestly hadn't been partaking of a small tipple
when I stuck this card together completely
upside down.....thats why it ended up with the bright
blue edge - oh, so much better!! Wish I could say
it was mean't to be that way.......

Going on a journey......

Going on a journey is one of my new doodles
available at SBS.

I have coloured up two sets of image with promarkers
and Sakura and then cut out the plants and
rocket from one to add dimension
-stuck the small planet and rocket
to acetate and used larger planet to
decorate inside of card.

I have used the letrajet airmarker
to create the background around
the planets - still practicising.....
there is no control yet .......lol!

completely with Sakura glaze, souffle
and stardust here.

Calla lilies...Wedding day


A new doodle Calla Lily Bouquet.
I was asked to make a Wedding card
using a particular dark shade of Calla Lilies.


Couldn't find an image that suited so doodled my own.
coloured with copics and Sakura.

Lovely Kaisercraft dp which I was lucky
to win from Brenda  - thanks Brenda!
(also for all the other goodies)
I think this has a very Vintage feel to it.

Flourishes and leaves cut on Pazzles and sprayed
with Cosmic Shimmer then stickles added.


Mulberry paper Calla Lilies.
Doodled sentiment and faux stitching.

Crafty Creations...Baby Blue...a welcome too!


This week at Crafty Creations Jeanet

( my design this one) from Polkadoodles

Quirky girl Estella.....Happy 6th Birthday


This image(Quirky Estella) was designed especially for a
friends daughter Estella.
Who wanted a quirky girl of her own.
I have no doubts in my mind that
this bears more than a reseblence to Estella's
quirkyness.....so I am pleased!

I have used
Basic Grey Livia papers and chip stickers
Image paperpieced and coloured
with Copics  and Sakura.
Flourish coloured with Cosmic shimmer spray
Mulberry paper flowers

Polka Doodles

All my elements come from

The flower Above I used UTEE on and
then sprayed with Cosmic shimmer.
The rest were sprayed and then edges inked.
Just some added twidly bits of wire.

Crafty Creations.....Feminine birthday - blue and green


 

This week at Crafty Creations
Deena is looking for feminine Birthday cards
in blue and green!


I have had my first play with my
Letrajet Air Marker

which turns your promarker pens
into an air brush system - very clever!
I bought mine at Art Discount
(it cost £22.45 plus air canister)

Obviously I need alot more practice
 but I love the softness it creates.



Basic Grey papers, rub ons and flower.
Promarkers and copics used together with Sakura.
Flourishes cut on Pazzles
and sprayed with Cosmic shimmer.

Happy 50th Birthday Marie...paper piecing....
