lovely flowers range...what I'm working on at the mo.

I am working on some new doodles

at the moment and I have called

the range lovely flowers,

because they have a heart as their centres.

Hope is off nursery ill today so lots of cuddles

on the sofa, and lots of colouring for me.

Happy 18th side step....

I feel like my blog is definitely getting

neglected at the moment.

I have little enough time to meet my dt responsibilities.

Although I have been making loads of cards for orders

they seem to be made and out the door

before I get a chance to photograph...must try harder!

So today I have an 18th card

that I made this week.

I run a card class on a Thursday (which I love) and this week

it was on side step cards so this was my sample

and an order rolled into one.

I have used Papermania stamps

which I have heat embossed

Basic Grey Sultry papers

charms, ribbon

and WRMK fancy eyelets.

I am still really enjoying everyones projects

that I visit in Blogland but trying to

restrict my commenting to once a week
....I hope I'm not missing anyone out!

Polkadoodle Blog Hop and challenge 21!

The challenge at Polka doodles this week is to create a male themed project.

I have gone for a simple easel card with gift card holder.....

Each of the Design Team has used the new Fathers Day / Male download

that Nikky has created for the challenge  – the download is already available on

the Polkadoodle website to buy but it will be available for free for the duration of the hop

Polka Doodles - it's a recipe!

This week at Polka Doodles

Collette has set the challenge

and what fun it is!

Use only one thing only from each section :

Colour - Pink or Turquoise,

Image - Fairy or Butterfly,

Embellishment 1 - ribbon or lace,

Embellishment 2 - Pearls or Crystals,

so for example if you pick ribbon then you cannot use lace as well.

My choices were

Polkadoodles - Easel card

As the challenge this week

at Polka Doodles

is to create an Easel card,

I decided to give the twisted easel a go.

Will definitely use this format again.

All my elements can be found

in the fab Polka Doodles shop.

I Used the Double sprinkle of Kraft cd

for most of the elements, except the

check paper which is from the Wonderland Cd.

Coloured teddy with Promarkers.

Acrylic doodle dewdrops in

the centre of flower.

Martha Stewart punches

for butterflies and foliage.

The teddy is on a foldaway flap

and acts as a stay for

the easel format to hold it upright.

The weather is just too good...gardening.....

I don't know where the time is going to

at the moment.

We are having such an amazing spell of weather.

I have spent most of last week working

in the garden. So please forgive my absence
