but of course we hope a happy home.

Graffiti Mural at Kelburn castle Largs...should it be kept?

I was surprised to see on Yahoo news
photo's of our local castle in Largs
Kelburn Castle!

I think its a shame that alongside the story
the photo is of a barely started mural.
It is amazing!!!!

They were only given permission
to keep the mural for 3 years
but I for one would be sad to see
it removed!

It was created by a group
of Brazillian Graffiti artists
in 2007.

The details are fabulous!

I loved the octopus girl so much
I encorporated her in a mural I
did in Hope's bedroom.

It's just sooooo very clever.

And so well executed.

By talented creative people.

With extraordinary imaginations.

Well thats my thoughts on the subject!

Some fun cards.... a couple of new doodles

An 18th Birthday card for a violin player.
Fun image by the Greeting Farm.

Paperpieced and coloured with
Promarkers/Sakura.
Fussy cut some dp for corners,

Fun 50th card for a Chemist!

Promarkers to colour with Crackle glaze on eyeballs.

I've got a thing for Bonsai at the moment.
So have done a couple of new Bonsai doodles.
I'm thinking they will make good background images.
Now just need some time to colour them up!
As always they are available at SBS.

Just about there...I am so chuffed with my fabulous new work space!

The roof should have been black shingles
but they sent half black and half green -
decided to go with the flow and have stripes
love it!

Last bits painted this evening.

Inside - what can I say!

Angus made all the shelves
from the timber off cuts.

I am indeed very lucky to have a kind husband
and a very handy brother!

My glass work table has been in the loft since befor kids were born.
I have worked on a small table under the stairs in our current house and most
of my bits packed away in storage.

A collection of atc I have recieved - some of you
will recognise them - I think!

Hi Mum - more photo's of studio as promised

Mum has been giving me a hard time about
lack of studio photo's.
They have mostly not been appearing because
at last I am able to help a bit more.

It's painting time.
Light oak stain to outside.

Angus put up some fab low energy lights.

Inside a combination of white wash and the stain
I love it! So please Angus talked me
into it as I really just wanted in and wasn't going to paint
inside, but it's really looking good.

It's a pale textured sage green lino.

Flexmarkers first try and a cherub!

I was asked to make a 40th card with a cherub
quite different for me but I
always enjoy a challenge.

The fab cherub was a free image from
