A wee bit personal...no pun intended.

I think it would be fair to say lately my heart hasn't been in blogging. I know through so many of the lovely people that I have met through blog land that folks lives are full of complications. A lot of us use our craft as stress release and I know for me when I don't have time to make cards life just isn't the same.
Anyhow I hope having at last received an appointment for middle child Caleb at Yorkhill (the children's hospital in Glasgow) that things will get a little easier. We discovered at Christmas that Caleb's toileting problems were not habitual as originally believed but medical. What happened after that has been a roller coaster that seemed to only be heading downwards. Hopefully now it's on its way back up ......
Maybe I'll be a better blogger soon but if not please bear with me and normal service will eventually resume!

using Tim Holtz papers. 

A little Shaping to spud to make him 'swim'.

A few hand coloured leather underwater die cuts

and a doodled sentiment and border.

My Favourite technique.....dedication card!

Quite unusual for me to use only rubber

to create a card.

However this best sums up my most favourite techniques

- Paper piecing and colouring.

I love them both in equal amounts so this card

was a joy to create.

has long passed, but we can always

make a card for a Mum.

I have been dying to try a bit of Frantage

after seeing the woman herself on Create and Craft

last week.

This is all a bit spooky actually.....if you have

wee look at the preview of next months magazine.....

weird or what!( I made mine about 5 days before

my mag turned up.)

Anyhow I have some great chipboard flowers and flourishes

that I played with alongside Vintage embossing powders

and mica flakes.

A lovely corner stamp, some sticky alphas,

little ceramic flowers and my trusty Sakura pen

to doodle.
