A wee bit pun intended.

I think it would be fair to say lately my heart hasn't been in blogging. I know through so many of the lovely people that I have met through blog land that folks lives are full of complications. A lot of us use our craft as stress release and I know for me when I don't have time to make cards life just isn't the same.
Anyhow I hope having at last received an appointment for middle child Caleb at Yorkhill (the children's hospital in Glasgow) that things will get a little easier. We discovered at Christmas that Caleb's toileting problems were not habitual as originally believed but medical. What happened after that has been a roller coaster that seemed to only be heading downwards. Hopefully now it's on its way back up ......
Maybe I'll be a better blogger soon but if not please bear with me and normal service will eventually resume!

  1. Really sorry to hear you have troubles Claire and wishing you and Caleb all the best and hope the problem gets sorted out really soon.
    Sending big hugs, Fliss xx

  2. Claire, I'm sending you a lot of hugs and love. I wish you all the best!

  3. Oh Claire - I am so sorry to hear of Caleb's problem - I do hope everything is sorted out very soon. Do not worry about blogging - we all understand, and will be here for you, no matter what.

Lots of love to you all - big {{{{HUGS}}}}, Sylvia xxxx

  4. Sending best wishes to you both, Claire - life has a habit of throwing a curve ball from time to time. Hope things are better for you soon. Hugz, Jan xx

  5. Hope that things get better for you and your family. Hope the hospital can help. Losts of hugs. anesha

  6. Sorry, Claire. A big hug from Italy, take care. Miria xxx

  7. Sending you all my best wishes, Claire. It's obviously been a long haul for you and Caleb and i hope things start to improve very soon. Once the NHS ball starts rolling, although it can be slow to start with, they do wonderful things so hang in there, I'm sure things will start to get better.
I'm thinking about you all and sending a big hug.

  8. It's a bummer when a hobby that is meant to de-stress turns into yet another form of stress, no time to craft or blog can be frustrating, thus, defeating it's purpose, right? Another source of stress.

Well I sure hope everything is easily resolved with your little guy and things can get back to a more peaceful place for you and your family!!

    hugs, stephanne

  9. Sorry to hear this Claire, but now you've got the appt hopefully things will get better sooner rather than later. Sending lots of good wishes your way.

    Love, Rose xx
