Kirsty's 40th and gift


A card for my friend Kirsty
who turned 40 on Friday.
We went out for breakfast - yummy!

Again using a feather embellishment.
I love this beautiful image by Leanne Ellis
available from Funky Kits

The background paper I made using waxed paper
sprayed with  cosmic shimmer inks.
It's very glimmery as there is also
mica on the stamped image and the ivy frame.





Her present....hanger bought at a show
Driftwood from a local beach
Hand dyed silk cocoons
wooden heart buttons
and some beads on wire......lots of fun!

    A very Happy birthday to your friend, Claire. I bet she was thrilled with her card and pressie, they are both stunning. I love the sprayed purple background and that driftwood is amazing.

    A stunning card Claire - I love Leanne Ellis images and I'm surprised we don't see more of them in blogland. The purple spritzed paper is so pretty, and the driftwood hanging is awesome- your friend is in for a treat!
