I used Basic Grey paper, football stamp then coloured white and hand cut beer glass with felt froth....

Copic Buzz - Mo manning

This is my first entry over at Copic Buzz and lets face it you have to have a go. The challenge this week is to use an illustration by the fab illustrator Mo Manning. If you don't already own any of her works of art they will even give you the little sweetheart above to use for your entry! How good is that....

Polkadoodles Challenge 13.....

This week over at Polkadoodles the DT were challenged
to make a two fold or more fold card using sugar birdies.
I love Polly Polkadoodle and these flowers are great for layering.

My Dt card is a trifold scalloped oval.
I cut a paper layer to matt onto card and decorated all panels with
images from the Cd.
Flowers are layered and secured with an eyelet.

I used a scalloped circle inside to write on with one of the cute birdies added.
A ribbon secures the card through eyelets on the outside ovals.

Lots of great projects by the Design team - pay them a visit at the blog and be inspired!
You don't have to use their images for your entry - and you could win some -
well worth a go I'd say!

All entries due in by Sunday 23rd August......

More Jingle Jangle Plokadoodles fun.....

Having a productive week as Reuben is off on a week at home allowing me
more time to play than normal - make the most of it - I say.
Still playing with the new Jingle Jangle Cd available to pre- order from Polkadoodles.
The only additional items on Christmas Polly are some eyelets, ribbon and stickles.
Just a little doodling added to gingerbread man using black pen and red stardust Sakura.

How cute are these robins - a touch of stickles and black pen are the only added extras here!

They are really cute - as you can tell I love working with them.....

Crafty Creations Challenge 28- Yellow

A little something to brighten up your day!
The challenge over at Crafty Creations this week is Yellow-
Be it mellow or be it bright, make it yellow for our delight!

My Dt card this week is the bubble monsters from the planet bubble wishing
somebody a happy birthday.
I had so much fun doing the bubble painting this week
( mix up washing up liquid, paint & water in a bowl and blow with a straw-
Take a print off the top of the bubbly bowl )
- Yes Spyder I also learnt this at playschool-
My mum taught at playgroup and I love helping out at ours now.
A few aditional Basic Grey Cupkake rubons and chipboard sentiment.
Bubbles cut from vellum and joined with eyelets - they just slot over edges.
Thnaks to Ali this week we have some gelatins as a prize.......
good luck and have fun!

Drayton Lady atc swap - My Time to craft

Oh Liz! I am just getting organized - yes I am that organized person by nature -
just takes me a while to get there!
Recieved my swaps from the Drayton Lady swap on Trimmcraft on
Wednesday - thanks Cheryl, Sandie J and Crafty Critter!
So last night put on my thinking cap for this months swap....
I have combined my swap this month with the My Time To Craft challenge
which is neglected or forgotten stash!
"Underwater bubbles"
use a handmade background of bubble painting.
eyelets and ribbon and some hand coloured underwater
leather die cut creatures.
The neglected or forgotten item are the bracelet fastenings that I bought an age ago - thinking "oh! they could be good for something!" - gathering dust perchance!

Anyway had lots of fun doing these - atc's are cool and I always enjoy them - don't do enough!
I'm sure everyone has some neglected stash - go pay them a visit!

Polkadoodles sketch challenge.....

So excited to have been asked to join the girls at Polkadoodles
for my first DT card - it was a sketch
here is what I came up with....

My card was cut from a A5 blank so that the top of the circle is part of the back of the card
I hate making envelopes.
Everything is from the candy doodles CD - doodle tweets- how cool are those trees and birdies.
I coloured my trees with copics and Sakura.

Layered the bird rosette using some of the scalloped circles/ovals.
Added a little pink velvet ribbon and a handwritten sentiment.

Come join us and have a look at the fab creations this week from the rest of the DT.

All entries to be in for 12a.m. GMT Sunday 16th August!

You could win some fab Polkadoodles goodies.....

There is also a great tutorial on how to make a circular bag by one of the team Lou!

Copic Creations eyes - wish.....

The challenge this week at Copic Creations is "eyes".
I have been wanting to have a go at drawing Manga for a while - I love it!
My oldest has been into Yu-gi-oh for some time and have been doing
my best to learn the card game....
Anyway for my Manga girl I started with a picture of Hope but a bit disappointed it bears
little resemblence to her now - hairs good but she looks too old - think I would change
how I did the mouth next time.....Pleased with my eyes though as they
still have some shape of her eyes about them.
Anyway pop over to Copic Creations they have a lovely prize this week again. Also some fab cards from their talented design team - some great Manga style images.
