Our schools are closed!!!!!

We had a text this morning to say schools in North Ayrshire are closed due to severe weather warning. I don't remember this ever happening before. We have an odd day closure due to snow but never to winds that I remember. Preparing for a power cut!!!!!

    There is a strongish wind in Milton Keynes Buckinghamshire but I hope it will not get any stronger. The weather seems to be very unpredictable in these days anyway.

    I hope you are staying safe up there, Claire. It sounds horrendous, I have been listening to it on the news. Good Job you got your roof done last year!!
    We have just a wet and windy day here although they said it would get stronger later but nothing like you've got.
