Once I have dyed a batch of lovely fluffy stuff
in this case Somerset Mohair
I like to separate out the individual locks.
This lot took approx 4hrs with a break for the Mentalist.
I am a bit of a CSI/Mentalist/Borgen etc fan!
Individual locks are fabulous to use in felt making,
hoping to have a play this afternoon with my new toy
so I may have something to share tomorrow.
Locks are still drying and there is some lovely fluffy
mohair left into the bargain.
Good job done!

I bet that's a task and a half, I didn't know you had to separate them. Felting is another world to me. A bit like sewing really. I've finished my quilts....at last, not a fan of the sewing machine really but I was determined to finish them, it's such a great cause. Anyway, the sewing machine has gone back into the cupboard and I've spent a lovely day with my paints while DD has gone to Grandma's for the weekend!! We've had a lovely half term, thanks. The weather was so lovely for the first half and despite the cold returning we still enjoyed getting out and about.
