Thinking of you - Poppy



To go with Daisy I have Poppy (Daisy's sister).
Poppy is Hope's best friend and has the most georgeous red hair!
Coloured with my copics, a little sakura, DCWV papers and die cut flowers and vines again.



I would like to enter this is the Simon Says Challenge which is
'Thinking of you' - most appropriste for this time of year I think!

Now it's time for daisy's turn! Using my own image Daisy 2, coloured with copics.
DCWV papers to back and odds used to cut flowers,vine and butterflies.

Polkadoodles Sketch



This week at Polkadoodles we have a great sketch to follow, and what fun I had!
I used the burger and chips from NFG CD!!



It isn't Reuben's Birthday but I made it with him in mind.....he would think this was a treat!
I used Husband backing papers from CD. Tags and newsprint paper (for my chip poke!)

C.R.A.F.T. Challenge - A recipe



This week at C.R.A.F.T. the Challenge is to follow a recipe
1 ribbon, 1 sentiment and 1 tag! Hopefully everyone will find this a bit more straightforward this week!
I had a card to make for a friends sisters 30th - Jo who also happens to play the saxaphone and clarinet.
I have used the fab backing paper from Polkadoodles NFG range
saxaphone,clarinet and notes are peel offs (one of my pet hates - but we'll let it go this time)
I hand cut tag from the same backing paper, doodled lots with Sakura and Sticky DCWV ribbon.



The fab prize this week is from Donnas Den - who has a great range of crafting goodies!

Crafty Creations#41 - Challenge Snow......

I decided to make a christmas decoration using the not yet released
cut snow angel, Basic Grey chipboard shapes, Papermania glitter paper, Sakura, eyelets

Cupcake Birthday




The challenge over at Papertake Weekly this week is Digi sparkle!
I have used one of my own digi images - Cupcake stand
Coloured with copics and lots of Sakura shadow and stardust,
Papermania ribbon with gold lurex at side, strawberry metalic charm - so lots of sparkle!

Willow and Holly!



Finally getting round to colouring the pictures for a friends family.
The children are called Holly, Willow, Daisy and Poppy ( Poppy is Hope's best friend )

Thanks everyone that has asked after the kids! As you see now there are two of them unwell they are very self sufficient at comforting one another! Still get a cuddle when they are awake but it means housework can't be ignored........At least they can now breath while sleeping!

Cameron skates- have a magical birthday!


Caleb's best friend Cameron is 5 on Monday - this card uses my image "Skate" coloured with copics and some Sakura doodling!

Bring out your Bling - Eila



The challenge over at Allsorts this week is Bring out your Bling - perfect for this card I have just Finnished.
Eilas first birthday card from her Granny - she wanted pink, sparkly and Minnie!
I have added lots of gems to Minnies bow and all over the card.
Minnie is coloured with Sakura stardust pens which I have also used
for doodling and sentiment!

Polkadoodles and appologies....


The challenge this week at Polkadoodles is to make a decoration - Polly is so perfect for the top of a tree - it just had to be done!
This was late and missed the Polkadoodle deadline - Sorry Nikki. Also sorry if I'm not popping by much. Two poorly kids now - both just very bad colds , I hope, but hard to part them from my knee.......

C.R.A.F.T. Challenge #24 Bonfire/Fireworks/Celebration



Can you belive it's Thursday again and time for this weeks C.R.A.F.T. Challenge which is
Bonfire night - Fireworks - Celebration
I'm sure that could cover a multitude of things, however I wanted to have a go at a Fireworks effect!
I have used a base of black pearlescent card - it has a gold sheen to it.
Heat embossed one of the Polkadoodles flower and flourish stamps in sparkly green.
Added doodles with sakura shadow and then sticky pearls to the endsof each line.



My good friend Catriona is going to be 40 this week - having a little party at ours on Saturday -
really looking forward to it!
We were at Art School together and now Catriona is an exhibition organizer for the Scottish parliment .

Crafty Creations Challenge #40



The challenge this week over at Crafty Creations is a card with a pull out element!



Our sponsors this week are Fresh Brewed Designs and I have used two of their very cute
owl images on my card - coloured with Copics
(Daddy owl I think looks a bit shell shocked!)


My papers and die cut elements are all by Crate Paper - such a fab range!
My pull out element could be used as a bookmark......The sentiment I "borrowed" from the Crate paper range and added it to the Fresh brewed designs image.

Creatalicious 70th card



I am trying very hard at the moment to use up part sheets of DP from my overflowing bits box - hence the unusual layout......I have handcoloured the leather befor die cutting flowers,butterflies and vines, tiny buttons for flower centres and doodled sentiment - a request for a friend to give her Mum on her 70th.

I am entering this at Creatalicious challenges - how cool is that name!

Incy Wincy Eila - 1st Birthday

I had a 1st Birthday card to make this morning, and I really liked working with the Incy Wincy Designs sketch! I have used some papers from my bits box - My Minds Eye and Basic Grey scraps.
One of my latest Gorjuss stamps, Copics, Sakura and chipboard letter and sticky alphas.
A little fabric and paper flower with brad to finish.



Golden Wedding


For my Mum and Dads friends Dorothy and Neil who are celebrating their Golden Wedding.

Cuba and Skinny Dipping....an odd request!


Mmmmmm! Well I do get some odd requests...
But I love a challenge! This time a 50th Birthday card to include a map of cuba and a girl skinny dipping!

Crate paper to back, crate paper and blue sugar coated doodlebug for 50th and Sue.
Scraps of DCWV to create waves. Bitty baby and clothes for swimmer.
Inking as always to soften edges!

What fun! I am entering this in Simon Says Challenge "All that Sparkles"
The sugar coated card sure does that!
