Challenge 46 Crafty Creations - traditional Christmas



This week at Crafty Creations the challenge is a traditional Christmas -
create something using the traditional colours of Christmas - Red, Green and Gold!
Yet another card for my friend Alison.......



We have the lovely stretch n bubbles as sponsors and I have used one of their images.
Santa was so lovely to work with!
Coloured with copics and Sakura.
Added some stickles for a bit of shiney shiney....
Hand doodled sentiment and holly.
DAD is a rub-on - I thought it looked like santa may be juggling!!

The production line.....



As it had been commented on about production line cards - I thought it was only fair to show you mine.
I have made approx 100 in 3 days to all those I can't make individual cards for- not enough hours in the day.



This is a selection of this years production line! I have printed my doodles on to Polkadoodles papers.
Cut pieces of DP (mostly last years leftovers from the bits box)
Then added some inked edges and stamping using Polkadoodles stamps and some Hero arts stamps.
Finished with a little sakura doodling and colouring.

Week 30 Polkadoodles - New Year



We had to combine an envelope and NEW YEAR on our project this week over at Polkadoodles.
I must say a fab mix from the DT and the new doodling dollies - way to go girls!



I made a party invite using those oh! so cute dear images on the Jingle Jangles CD
alphies, snow papers, trims for added cuteness to my envelope and ponsettia stamp.
A little extra doodling and that fab sentiment badge
"from our house to yours"

C.R.A.F.T. - Happy New Year!



This week over at C.R.A.F.T. the challenge is - Happy New Year!
I have been looking forward to using this stamp since I recieved it as a pressie - how cute is that Scots man.
Perhaps looking a little bashfull as I can guarantee, I have put absolutely nothing on under his kilt in true tradition. Paperpieced with a fab Basic Grey tartan, coloured with copics and Sakura.
DP are Basic Grey and bazzil bling.
Hand drawn thistles and sentiment to finnish.

Ponsettia girl



For my friend Lesleys Mum. Sugar Nellies Poinsettia girl again in a different colour palette.
I love the Doodlebug glitter embossed DP.
Again I used Debbie from the Crafty Pad leaf stamps and added a few leather butterflies.
I'd like to enter this in the Stamp Something Challenge - Glitzy something!


Happy Christmas Reindeer...snowflakes - Incy Wincy designs



The challenge this week over at Incy Wincy designs is Snowflakes.
This is another card for my friend Alison using the Reindeer image I created for Keryn.
My DP is DCWV and has embossed glittery snowflakes on it.
I have coloured my image with copics and Sakura(there are snowflakes drawn on the background)
I have used Snowflake eyelets to secure my ribbon with bells.

Polkadoodles samples - New Back to Nature CD - Welcome new DT!



A couple more of my samples for the new Polkadoodles Back to Nature CD release on Ideal World.
I love owls and it has a great owl section with lovely shaped backings and loads of sentiments.
Also the ability to add in sentiments of your own in some sections.



I would also like to take this opportunity to welcome the new additions to the DT


I am sure many of you will know some of these girlies but pop by and visit their blogs - everyone is fab.
I also believe we will be having some guest DT members in the New Year.

Christmas sparkle - Digital Tuesday challenge



I make Christmas cards for quite a few friends to give . These are for my lovely friend Alison.
Using Cardmadfairy's great Snowbaby image (I use the digital ones), coloured with copics and Sakura.
Stickles for fluffy parts of outfit. The bottom card also uses a glitter embossed DCWV DP.
I'd like to enter these in the Digital Tuesday challenge - Christmas sparkle!
All the dots in the sentiments are sticky gems.....


Happy Christmas Fraser



There is a new challenge blog on the Block!
Cards for Men and their challenge this week is a male Christmas card.
So I would like to enter this one for Fraser.....a friends Son.



This uses a digi image from Digital Delights that was a freebie a while back and I hadn't had a chance to use it yet! He's one fun reindeer and I doodled a parcel for him to sit on.
All coloured as always with a copic and Sakura mix.

Christmas cards.....Mo's illustration and Allsorts challenge


Unfortunately the colour has been a bit washed out in the photo but her dress is purple which also happens to be the challenge over at Allsorts this week!
Basic Grey DP to back, Mo Mannings fab illustration coloured with copics and Sakura.
Handwritten sentiment and some adhesive pearls used in background.

Thanks for everyones messages Jacob is alot better and the new antibiotics seem to be working -

Polkadoodles samples

I had such fun with the new Polkadoodles CD - Back to Nature!
Unfortunately missed the programme as I was in hospital with Jacob but hope to catch a repeat!

Polkadoodles - a quickie!


Polkadoodles Fab sketch! Mmmm endless possibilities....but had to be a quickie!



This weeks sketch at Polkadoodles is brill and I was so looking forward to it.
For me it had to be a last minute job as Jacob's ear took a turn for the worse and we ended up at ENT on Thursday morning. Antibiotics finnished and he starts oozing again!
Anyway sure you don't want to know about Jacob's oozing....



Jingle Jangles CD and stamps were used for my creation this week.
Some eyelets, ribbon, Sakura doodles and sticky gems and Voila!
(can't spell as many of you may realise by now - much to my parents amusement - big Scrabble buffs)

C.R.A.F.T. Challenge 28 - Christmas Birthday



C.R.A.F.T. Challenge this week is Christmas Birthday - my pal Alison has her birthday just a few days befor Christmas, so this is very handy. I have used the Sugar Nellie - Poinsetta girl - she is adorable, paper pieced and coloured with Copics. Also I have used the Crafty Pad leaf and flourish set.
This is a wonderful set of stamps and I can see myself using them loads.
We are lucky to have Debbie at the Crafty Pad sponsoring the challenge this week and the winner will recieve the leaf and flourish set as well as Ted hugs (very cute).



I'd also like to enter this in The Cupcake Craft Challenge - Red and Green and The Corosive Challenge also Red and Green - popular colours this week!

Crafty Creations - Lace and distressing



This weeks challenge at Crafty Creations is lace and distressing - lace is not something I normally use.
Had a wander to "Carousel crafts" our local haberdashery shop and found this purple cotton lace amongst the oddments. I have used a Sugar Nellie stamp - Diane Duda's Peace Angel- colured with Copics.
Pieces of grungeboard painted with the great Tim Holtz crackle paint and edges inked.
I  left the lace edges with extra distressing and Sakura doodles to finnish.
