What a great Sunday!
Hope and I got a chance to do some felting.
(I should say Hope is now almost 7,
I am having a problem changing my profile)
She decided she was going to help me and
then thought it would be good to make a piece herself.
She chose all her ingredients from the studio
(I did cut the hearts)
and laid out her piece.
She likes the rolling pin
and was very patient rolling and turning.
and of course you have to have the
hands on approach.
It's a lovely soft piece of felt to take in for
show and tell tomorrow.
Hi Claire, thanks for your comment and i'm playing catch up to :)
ReplyDeleteHope's felt looks really lovely and I can't imagine how much patience it took to make it.
Looks like you're having a great time with all your wool and kits too.
Hugs, Fliss xx
She's made a beautiful piece, well done!
ReplyDeleteHi Claire - It's such a good thing to encourage children to craft, and Hope certainly looks as if she is enjoying the felting! The finished piece is fabulous!
ReplyDeleteI went to a full-day felting class a few years ago and was surprised how much hard work goes into the process, particularly the rolling!
Thanks for popping by - I know how busy you are, so I really appreciate you taking the time.
Hugs, Sylvia xx
