Crafty Creations - Ice cream and cakes....

School finnished for summer yesterday in Largs
yipppeeeeeee!
So it's my turn to set the challenge at
and I have gone for some celebratory

OSAAT and new releases at Stitchy Bear Stamps

Have been busy doodling this week.
Mostly because I had a poorly Jacob on Friday so we were stuck indoors!
Anyway thanks to Jacob keeping me tied to the house
I have 4 new doodles this week!

Teapot which is based on a beautiful raku
teapot that my brother gave me.
Really because I seem to endlessly be removing
dandelions the size of small tress from
my garden - and secretly I like them going to seed.....

Polka Doodles

Brenda has challenged us to create a boys birthday card this week!
The robots are so fun from the Polka Doodles NFG CD.
The stars paper is also from the same Cd and comes
in a great range of colours.
I have created an easel fold card with some extra
doodly wire bits attached to some screw head brads.
I have been busy with samples for the new Cd this week
which is on Create and Craft on Sunday 27th June 2p.m.
Only problem is I forgot to take any photo's - bah humbug!

Sketch Challenge- C.R.A.F.T.

Thanks Ei for supplying another fab sketch at C.R.A.F.T. this week!
I loved working with this sketch and know I will use again.
I have used my images
Candyfloss castle - and New Home - On the move
coloured with copics.
Dp's are all Basic Grey - Archaic collection.
Martha Stewart punch.

I don't normally colour images as small as this
but to keep true to Ei's sketch I did
and I am really pleased with the result.
It makes a change for me to have more space around the image.

Happy Birthday Calum - Donnas Den of Crafts

Just ideal since I have a few to do.
This one is for the kids friend Calum
who will be 5 this week.
I have used the wonderful Mo Manning illustration
and the lovely new papers

Fathers day requests....Cards For Men

A couple of cards that I have been
asked for , for Fathers Day!
The first for a footballing dad.
Using the fab Fruitloopsally digi papers,
large footballs and alphas.
Little bit of stickles for glamour!
The second for a Grandad who likes his whiskey!
Having stayed in Orkney a bottle
of Highland Park came to mind.
So I doodled that and coloured with copics.
Added clear accents to give the bottle
a look of glass....
have a Fathers Day challenge on the go!
So I'd like to enter them there.

OSAAT and New releases at Stitchy Bear Stamps

This week at OSAAT I am standing in as GDT because they are
missing a few members of the DT.
I really enjoyed joining the girls this week
in their special 'New' Challenge.

My first card uses the wonderful set of baby girl papers
along with the oh so cute  Baby Elephant
by Stamping Dragon.
My second card uses
this wonderful sentiment stamp
I  made a joy fold card,with Basic Grey Sugared DP's.
Martha stewart punches, Paperemania punches
and inked edges and gems.

Polka Doodles - Nursery Rhyme challenge

Little Bo Peep has lost her sheep!
Thats the nursery rhyme I've chosen
for this weeks challenge at Polka Doodles
A 40th Birthday card for a friends sister
who is 40 and happens to be a shepherdess
how appropriate is that! - not that I am suggesting she is
not good at her job....sure she never looses any sheep!
I have used Flutterfly fairy(without wings)
Maggie stamp set.
Sheep and trees from the Back to Nature Cd and papers from
All Around and Everywhere. Copics and Sakura to colour.
